Mini Bio (1) As of her debut in South Korean films, Ye-jin Son became one of the stars of Chungmoore, the Korean Hollywood, notably appearing in the beautiful "Drunk on Women and Poetry" by the master Kwan-taek Im. In "April Snow", directed by Jin-ho Hur (2005), she questioned her pure innocent girl image, playing to perfection an ordinary housewife confronted to tragedy and to an unexpected love story.

Ye-jin Son Actress - Son Ye-jin started her entertainment career as a TV commercial model in 1999 before making her acting debut in 2001 with drama series Delicious Proposal. She starred in movie Lover Concerto in 2002, before making her major breakthrough in 2003 with drama series Summer Scent and movie The Classic, both were huge hit and made her known across Asia.

Son Ye-jin continue to raise her profile as an acclaimed actress in movies A Moment to Remember (2004), April Snow (2005) and Open City (2007); and also in drama series Alone in Love in 2006. Her 2008 film My Wife Got Married was arguably her most successful act in terms of award recognitions, winning her best actress gongs at both the Baeksang Arts Awards and Blue Dragon Awards.

Son Ye-jin starred in another hit movie White Night in 2009. Her 2010 drama Personal Taste did just ok in Korea, but pretty popular in other Asian countries.
