Vishnu (Sanskrit: विष्णु, 'All Pervasive', IAST: Viṣṇu), also known as Narayana and Hari, is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the supreme being within Vaishnavism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism.
