Michael Lamper (born Joseph Michael Lamper; 2 January 1958 – 7 December 2019) was an American rock guitarist and musician who portrayed an Acamarian Gatherer in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Vengeance Factor" in 1989.
Lamper married Deanna Troi actress Marina Sirtis on 21 June 1992. Brent Spiner and Michael Dorn were groomsmen at the wedding. Lamper met Sirtis through her personal friend Anna Turkel. The marriage was in traditional Greek ceremony.
As a musician from early age on, Lamper has played with musicians such as Tommy Shaw (Styx), Kevin Cronin,Matthew Nelson, Jack Blades, the Allman Brothers, Quiet Riot and Los Lobos. He also worked as lead singer on the band Steely Jam.
