Lily Knight is an actress, acting teacher and audition coach, who has taught at the Circle Rep School in New York, and private classes in Los Angeles.
She is an accomplished actress who has appeared in over 50 television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Castle, American Horror Story, True Blood, Rizzoli & Isles and Medium, and played a recurring role on the anthology crime drama series American Crime. She has performed in the Broadway plays Agnes of God, As Is and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, in addition to many off-Broadway plays, including The Holy Terror, The Early Girl and The Fiery Furnace. She has also performed for several other theater companies, including Arena Stage, ATL, Boston Shakespeare Company, Baltimore's Center Stage, Berkshire, Williamstown Theatre Festivals, Odyssey Theatre and Antaeus, the latter which she is a member of.
Lily's feature films of notes include roles in the 2015 drama film Sky, the 2011 romantic comedy-drama The Artist, the 2008 mystery thriller film Changeling starring Angelina Jolie, the 2002 romantic comedy-drama Secretary, the 2002 biographical horror film Dahmer, Steven Spielberg's science fiction film A.I. Artificial Intelligence and the 2015 dystopian horror film The Purge: Anarchy. She also plays one of the leading roles in the 2001 drama film The Amati Girls.
In 1990, she was awarded an Helen Hayes Award Resident Production for Outstanding Lead Actress in Sam Shephard's play A Lie of the Mind.
