John M. Hastert (born November 20, 1958) is a former Democratic member of the Wyoming Senate, he represented the 13th district from 2007–2019. The 13th is located in Sweetwater County and includes Green River, Purple Sage, Clearview Acres and portions of Rock Springs. He served as the Senate Minority Caucus Chairman from 2013 until his promotion to Senate Minority Whip in 2017.
