Jess Bradford is a fictional character in the Black Christmas series. She was created by A. Roy Moore and portrayed by actress Olivia Hussey. She is the primary protagonist of the 1974 original film. The character also appears in the novelization of the film. Black Christmas (1974) was praised for challenging gender roles with Jess receiving acclaim for the way she was written and the way that she was portrayed by Hussey.
