Cassidy Freeman

Cassidy Freeman born April 22, 1982, in Chicago, IL) is an American actress and musician. She is known for her role as Tess Mercer in The CW's superhero drama "Smallville" (2001) and Cady Longmire in "Longmire" (2012). Her parents are prominent attorneys, who also own a cattle ranch in Montana. She is the youngest of three children, brothers voice actor Crispin Freeman and musician Clark Freeman.

Younger sister of actors Clark Freeman and Crispin Freeman.

Sings and plays piano in the three-piece band, The Real D'Coy, with her brother, Clark Freeman, who plays the drums.

Her hobbies include hiking, quilting, playing volleyball and waterpolo and singing in her family band "The Real D'Coy".

She is an active member of the "Heal the Bay" charity, which works toward cleaning up and protecting the west coast waters, and taught and tutored children in Santa Monica as a part of the "Virginia Avenue Project".

Every job I've had since 'Smallville' has wanted me to have red hair, so I have to thank 'Smallville' for that. But, just the fact that it was so different was appealing to me. As an actor, you want to be able to play a lot of different things.
