The love story of how Leighanne stole one of the Backstreet Boys' hearts is a fan-favorite of many. Two months after Brian split from Samantha, while on the set of the Backstreet Boys' music video for their single "As Long As You Love Me" in 1997, a video that was known for its romantic storyline, Brian Littrell met model and actress Leighanne Reena Wallace, who was an extra playing the role of Donna in the video. It was love at first sight for Brian. He dated her for two years and proposed to her on Christmas night of 1999, and their engagement, along with the engagement of Kevin Richardson to Kristin Willits, was announced on MTV in February 2000. They married on September 2, 2000, at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Both are committed evangelical Christians. On November 26, 2002, they had a son named Baylee Wylee Thomas Littrell, 21, who even served as the opening act for the Backstreet Boys on tour, recently appeared in the Broadway musical Disaster! and released his first country debut album, 770-Country. Brian and Leighanne have been married since 2000, and as of 2024, the family currently lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, near Atlanta.
