    The Ying River (simplified Chinese: 颍河; traditional Chinese: 潁河; pinyin: Yǐng Hé) is the largest tributary of the Huai River with its origin in Henan Province, People's Republic of China. From Zhoukou City in Henan, the river flows through Fuyang City in Anhui Province then empties into the Huai River at Zhengyang.

    Hong River is a major tributary river of Huai River system. Its source is on the western slope of Dengtaijia Peak near the border between the city of Wugang and Biyang County of Henan province. If flows for about 326 kilometres (203 mi) before meeting the Huai River near the provincial border between Henan and Anhui provinces. The lower section of Hong River is also called Hongru River (洪汝河), as it follows the lower course of a historical Ru River (汝水) that was artificially redirected during Yuan and Ming dynasties. Suya Lake on Hong River is the largest reservoir on the plain in China.

    The Huang River (Chinese: 潢河; pinyin: Huáng Hé) is a tributary of the Huai River in Henan Province, Central China. The Huang rises in southeastern Xin County and flows northward across the Guangshan County and Huangchuan County to reach its mouth at the northeastern Xuezi Town of the Huangchuan County. The river has a length of 140 kilometres (87 mi) and drains an area of 2,400 square kilometres (930 sq mi).

    Jialu River (Chinese: 贾鲁河) is a river in Henan, China. It originates in Xinmi, and flows northeast to Zhengzhou. From there, it flows southeast and passes through Weishi, Fugou and Xihua counties, eventually joining the Ying River, the largest tributary of the Huai River, at Zhoukou.
