    Juho Albert Pudas (originally Putaansuu) (February 17, 1899 – October 28, 1976) was a Finnish-Canadian hockey player and coach. He was the first Finnish-born hockey player in the National Hockey League and possibly in North America. Following his hockey career Pudas was active in the capacity of referee.

    Väinö Veikko Sakari Huhtala (24 December 1935 – 18 June 2016) was a Finnish former cross-country skier who competed in the early 1960s. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics with a gold in 1960 and a silver in 1964. Huhtala also finished fourth in the 15 km event at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1962 to 1975, representing the Agrarian League, which changed its name to Centre Party in 1965. He was a presidential elector in the 1968 Finnish presidential election.
