Marika Fingerroos (born March 29, 1979 in Ruukki, now a part of Siikajoki, Finland) is a Finnish model who together with Martina Aitolehti form the singer duo Salarakkaat.

Juho Albert Pudas (originally Putaansuu) (February 17, 1899 – October 28, 1976) was a Finnish-Canadian hockey player and coach. He was the first Finnish-born hockey player in the National Hockey League and possibly in North America. Following his hockey career Pudas was active in the capacity of referee.

Antti Ticklén (born 19 July 1958) is a Finnish cross-country skier. He competed in the 50 km event at the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Eino Huhtala (born 18 November 1938) is a Finnish cross-country skier. He competed in the men's 15 kilometre event at the 1964 Winter Olympics.

Liisi Kivioja (10 January 1859 – 30 October 1925) was a Finnish educator, politician and banker. A member of the Finnish Party, she was elected to Parliament in 1907 as one of the first group of female MPs, remaining in parliament until 1910.

Asser Matias (Matti) Asunmaa (11 September 1921, Revonlahti – 1 October 1998) was a Finnish farmer and politician. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland, representing the Finnish Rural Party (SMP) from 1970 to 1972, the Finnish People's Unity Party (SKYP) from 1972 to 1977 and the Centre Party from 1977 to 1979.

Väinö Veikko Sakari Huhtala (24 December 1935 – 18 June 2016) was a Finnish former cross-country skier who competed in the early 1960s. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics with a gold in 1960 and a silver in 1964. Huhtala also finished fourth in the 15 km event at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

Reino Robert Kangas (20 April 1910 – 12 February 1998) was a Finnish farmer, lay preacher and politician, born in Paavola. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1962 to 1975, representing the Agrarian League, which changed its name to Centre Party in 1965. He was a presidential elector in the 1968 Finnish presidential election.
