Václav Havel ( 5 October 1936 – 18 December 2011) was a Czech statesman, writer and former dissident, who served as the last President of Czechoslovakia from 1989 until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992 and then as the first President of the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2003. As a writer of Czech literature, he is known for his plays, essays, and memoirs.
Pavel Kohout (born 20 July 1928) is a Czech and Austrian novelist, playwright, and poet. He was a member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, a Prague Spring participant and dissident in the 1970s until he was not allowed to return from Austria. He was a founding member of the Charter 77 movement.
Bedřich Neumann (3 April 1891 – 15 July 1964) was a Czechoslovak general. He served in the World War I and in the Czechoslovak Legions in Russia, then in the World War II he became an important member of the Obrana národa resistance organisation and chief of staff to the Czechoslovak Army in exile, gaining the nicknames "Miroslav" and "Bohuš Miroslav" whilst in exile during that conflict. After the 1948 Communist coup in Czechoslovakia he became a political exile, dying in London sixteen years later.
Petr Fiala (born 1 September 1964) is a Czech politician and political scientist who has been the prime minister of the Czech Republic since November 2021 and leader of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) since 2014. He previously served as the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports from 2012 to 2013. Prior to entering politics, he was the rector of Masaryk University.
Pavel Landovský (11 September 1936 – 10 October 2014), nicknamed Lanďák, was a Czech actor, playwright, and director. He was a prominent dissident under the communist regime of former Czechoslovakia.

Jan Petránek (28 December 1931, Prague – 10 November 2018, Prague) was a Czech journalist, commentator and dissident during communist era of Czechoslovakia. He was a signatory of Charter 77.
Naděžda Kavalírová (13 November 1923 – 20 January 2017) was a Czech paramedic, human rights activist and former political prisoner who became actively involved in the resistance to Czechoslovakia's Communist government. She later headed the Confederation of Political Prisoners (Konfederace politických vězňů České republiky) from 2003 until her death in January 2017.
Miloš Hájek (12 May 1921 – 25 February 2016) was a Czech historian, politician and Czechoslovak resistance fighter during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia (1938–1945). Hájek, who signed the Charter 77 human rights manifesto in 1977, became the spokesman for the Charter 77 movement in 1988.
