    Steve Thonn (pronounced TUN) is an American football coach. He was previously was a head coach in the Arena Football League (AFL) for the Houston Thunderbears, Grand Rapids Rampage and Cleveland Gladiators. Thonn is also a former AFL player. He played WR/DB for the Chicago Bruisers (1988) and the Albany Firebirds (1990–1993). He was the offensive coordinator of the Georgia Force from 2004 to 2007 before being hired as the Rampage head coach.

    The Cleveland Gladiators are an arena football team based in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, who play in the Arena Football League (AFL) as part of the AFL National Conference. The Gladiators play their home games at Quicken Loans Arena, which they share with the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association and the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League. The franchise was originally based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and then later in Las Vegas, Nevada, before relocating to Cleveland for the 2008 AFL season. The Gladiators have qualified for the playoffs eight times in their history, reaching the ArenaBowl for the first time in 2014.

The National Conference champion Arizona Rattlers defeated the American Conference champion Cleveland Gladiators, 72–32. The game was played on August 23, 2014 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, the home of the Gladiators.
