Claim to Fame | Jeffrey Epstein's underage sex ring, Advocate of justice for sex trafficking survivors |
Virginia Guiffre, (née Roberts; born in Sacramento in August 1983), is one of the most prominent alleged victims of the underage-sex-trafficking ring that was operated by Jeffrey Epstein. She has been featured in both American and British television outlets widely and was one of the main accusers of Epstein in all lawsuits that were brought against him. Her interview conducted by the BBC and televised in November 2019 where she said that she was sex trafficked to Prince Andrew by Epstein three times while she was underage lead to a widespread outcry in the British public and to a call for Prince Andrew to have his title removed. The prince subsequently resigned from his royal duties on November 20, 2019, and the majority of organisations and charities he was connected to stopped working with him.
