Viktor Mihály Orbán (born 31 May 1963) is a Hungarian politician. He is the current prime minister of Hungary, in office since 2010. He also served as prime minister from 1998 to 2002. He is the present leader of the national conservative Fidesz party, a post he has held since 2003 and, previously, from 1993 to 2000. On 19 August 2018, Orbán surpassed György Lázár as the 2nd longest-serving prime minister in Hungarian history.
