Ariana Grande had to dye her hair red for the show, because they didn't want all of the main characters to have brown hair. Later, Elizabeth Gilles dyed her hair black.

The outside cafeteria scenes are actually set in the parking lot of Nickelodeon on Sunset studios. If you look carefully, you can see the traffic flowing on Sunset Blvd in the background.


The ketchup and mustard bottles are super short in the later seasons. It's because they used to have a problem with the ketchup and mustard blocking cast members' faces. So, they asked the prop team to shorten them.
