During her university days, Uribe interned for WOAI NBC News Channel, KENS-5 CBS News Channel, NBC London, and BBC News. At KENS-5, she rose through the organization becoming an entertainment reporter on their live morning show, Great Day SA, alongside Miss USA 1994 Lu Parker.

Throughout her career Uribe has secured exclusive interviews with British politicians, including former MP George Galloway and Sir Edward Henry Garnier. She also obtained interviews from former British MI5 officers and whistle-blowers David Shayler and Annie Machon, and Welsh-American documentary-maker Jon Ronson.

She's worked on a variety of documentaries, current affairs and lifestyle programming.
