Sierra Nowak was born on June 10, in Akron, Ohio to Victoria Skory and Stephen Nowak, a home improvement salesman and musician. She is of Polish and Ukrainian descent. Starting her modeling career at just the age of 8 years old, Sierra knew her passion for entertainment early on. She began acting in theater at the age of 11, and continued to participate in choir and drama club throughout high-school. Sierra later moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her career in modeling and acting while she received her Bachelor of Science degree form The University of Southern California where she studied business and cinematic arts.
Since graduating, she has continued to work in all forms of media. She has appeared in several films, television shows and commercials including playing Marvin, a confident attorney in the film Unintended, and Karen, a high school age student in the film Burgers. Sierra is most known for her appearance in the television series MTV'S 90's House.
