Sheldon Lee Cooper, B.S., M.S., M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., is a fictional character on the CBS television series The Big Bang Theory, portrayed by actor Jim Parsons. Parsons won an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe in January 2011 for this role.
