Mira Waters was an actress, singer and songwriter. As an actress, she is known for The Learning Tree (1969), The Greatest (1977) and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974). In the late 1970s Motown released a couple of Mira Waters singles. Mira was born in Philadelphia and at one point was married to African Ambassador Andre Nyankiye, but she left her marriage by 1969 to pursue her acting and singing career. Waters was a very good athlete and participated in many JET celebrity tennis tournaments in the 1970's and 80's, frequently winning them.
