Love Island is a British dating reality show. It is a revival of the earlier celebrity series of the same name, which aired for two series in 2005 and 2006 on ITV. The series will be presented by Laura Whitmore for the Winter 2020 series, standing in for regular host, Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling. The series launched on 7 June 2015 on ITV2, and unlike the original series, the contestants are members of the public rather than celebrities. In 2018 it won a BAFTA TV Award for Best Reality and Constructed Factual Show.
