Everything goes in cycles. There was a time 15 years ago when sitcoms were No. 1 on TV. Now, people are enjoying the quality of dramas, especially Jerry Bruckheimer dramas, which feel like miniature movies. For us, it feels like we're making a little movie every week.

As much as I loved playing that character (on 'Committed'), it did scare me if that show had a long run that people would typecast me as a slightly crazy, ditzy character,
I only hoped they would take a chance and see me. I thought if I could get into the room and tackle this character, who is every actress's dream, maybe I would have a chance.
