On September 20, 2019, it was announced that the film would be released in 2020 through WarnerMedia.
When Sal threatens the other Jokers with a 2X4, he swipes off half of the plates on the nearby picnic table. When the guys agree to continue on with him, the next shot shows all the plates back on top of the table again.
Murr legitimately stood on the bi-plane mid flight for the final punishment. He was made aware of it prior to the day of (uncommon for punishments), and took out a life insurance policy beforehand, in case anything went wrong.
The hula girl is a reference to Q's long time friend Stacy Patella.
The club at the end of the film is called Santiago's. A running gag on the Impractical Jokers television series is a never-seen mob boss named Santiago, who "orders" either the jokers or innocent bystanders to retrieve the money he is owed. This usually results in the jokers "sending a message" by breaking things, or one of them paying a bystander out of pocket.
The license plate says LRY. Referring to Larry, the running gag on the show. Joe is always running around looking for Larry.
Larry is also mentioned on the walkie talkie before the first Paula Abdul concert when the guys sneak in as security guards.
During the Miami scene when Murray is walking the town and the four girls eating dinner recognize him as he walks by, you can see Will Ferrell sitting behind them eating dinner. Will Ferrell's Funny or Die company produced the film.
Each time Murray opens his hotel room door to reveal his room, the other guys had no idea what he had set up inside. The first time the guys saw it was on camera.
Final score on the Loser Board: Joe 1, Sal 1, Q 3, Murr 4. This marks a rare occasion where Sal holds the least amount of losses (albeit tied), as he has faced the most punishments of any joker on the television series.
Murr loses the movie and is not invited to the party. The movie ends with him being strapped to the top of a bi-plane while it performs aerial maneuvers.
