Marks Al Pacino's first appearance in a TV series since his acting debut in N.Y.P.D. (The Godfather Saga and Angels Of America were mini-series).

Eva Braun Would have been 65 at the time this series takes place. Lena Olin, who portrays her, was just a few months shy of her 65th birthday when the series was released.

Saul Rubinek who plays Murray Markowitz a Nazi hunter also plays Lee Donowitz in True Romance written by Quentin Tarantino. In the Tarantino universe Lee Donowitz ancestor Sgt. Donny Doniwitz played by Eli Roth in Inglorious Basterds was also a Nazi hunter!

After Eva Braun and Hitler committed suicide they asked trusted guards to burn and dispose of their bodies so they could not be publicly displayed and desecrated as had previously happened with Mussolini and his mistress. This has obviously resulted in a lot of conspiracy theories that the two escaped and lived out their lives since their dead bodies were never seen. Most theories suggest that they escape to Argentina.

Logan Lerman also starred in the movie Fury where he fought the Nazis during WWII.

Germany has had three Reichs (Reich translated as empire or regime). The First Reich was during The Holy Roman Empire (from the 10th century until the 19th century). The Second Reich being in The German Empire from 1871 to 1918. The Third Reich started, when the Nazi party took to power, in 1933 and lasted until the end of the second world war in 1945.

The Auschwitz Memorial has complained about the fabrications in Hunters, saying that they would aid future Holocaust Deniers. Auschwitz Memorial has tweeted: "Auschwitz was full of horrible pain & suffering documented in the accounts of survivors... Inventing a fake game of human chess for @huntersonprime is not only dangerous foolishness & caricature... It also welcomes future deniers. We honor the victims by preserving factual accuracy."

Logan Lerman, Saul Rubinek, Carol Kane, Josh Radnor, and Jeannie Berlin all portray Jewish characters and are Jewish in real life. Al Pacino is the only gentile portraying a Jewish character, possibly hinting to his character's true identity.

Reunites Al Pacino and Carol Kane after 45 years since first appearing together in Dog Day Afternoon (1975).

Marks Al Pacino's first appearance in an episodic TV series since his acting debut in N.Y.P.D. (1967).

There was a real Paper Clip Project run by the US government. Among all the Nazi German scientists, Wernher von Braun worked in Nazi Germany's rocket development program. He helped design and develop the V-2 rocket at Peenemünde during World War II. Following the war, he was secretly moved to the United States, along with about 1,600 other German scientists, engineers, and technicians, as part of Operation Paperclip. He worked for the United States Army on an intermediate-range ballistic missile program, and he developed the rockets that launched the United States' first space satellite Explorer 1.

Eva Braun's relationship with Hitler was largely kept a secret. Nor was she ever seen in public, and she was kept out of photographs as much as possible. Therefore it is perfectly reasonable that she could hide in plain sight years later as is depicted in the series.

There is a poster of Farrah Fawcet in Jonah's room. Farrah was in a movie called Nazi Hunters.
