They met backstage at an REO Speedwagon show at the L.A. Forum. They were introduced by Mötley’s accountant Chuck Shapiro who was also REO Speedwagon’s accountant.
He proposed to her over Christmas, while riding in a limousine down the Ventura Freeway with their heads in the wind outside the open moon-roof. Her first and his second marriage began in a courtyard in Santa Barbara, California with five hundred guests.
In August 1993 she filed a petition for Dissolution of Marriage in the Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences after seven years of marriage.
