Buster first began performing in explicit hardcore movies in 1989 and became one of the top stars of European adult cinema by appearing in a slew of X-rated features. Dolly eventually retired from the adult film industry and has gone on to become the author of a successful series of novels about a German porn star turned amateur detective. She won a Special Jury Venus Award in 2003. In 2004 Buster attempted to obtain a seat in European parliament as a candidate of a fringe Czech party; said party received 0.71% percent of the votes. Dolly was voted Germany's hottest porn star at age 39. In 2009 Buster was mistakenly placed on the ballot for a German city council election. In addition, Buster does paintings and drawings in her spare time after taking life-drawing classes from Armin Tolke at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf. She lives with her husband in Wessel, Germany.
