A native Los Angeles photographer, the day Cooper Reynolds Gross picked up his first camera at the age of eight, he knew he had found his passion. At twelve he discovered Ansel Adams, the man that would become his core influence. Soon after, on a family trip to Yosemite National Park, he spent two weeks learning and discovering how the great Mr. Adams saw the world around him.
Using the work of Ansel Adams, Paul Jasmin, Henry Diltz and Man Ray as a guide, Cooper treats every photo he shoots as a lesson in composition and light; he has refined his style into what is best described as contemporary western with a rock ‘n roll edge.
