Byron Lane is a Los Angeles based actor and writer. His acting career started with regional theatre in his hometown of New Orleans. He studied at Loyola University New Orleans, The Groundlings, the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts, and others. Lane won a Best Actor award from the Feel Good Film Festival for his starring role in the feature film comedy Herpes Boy (2009), which Lane also wrote and helped produce. Herpes Boy (2009) also won Best Comedy at Comic-Con, an Audience Award from the Austin Film Festival, and screened at many festivals across the country. Lane has also appeared in many commercials, has worked as a journalist, and is an Emmy Award-winning writer.
