Beverly Heather D'Angelo (born November 15, 1951) is an American actress and singer. The famous roles she played include Sheila in Hair and - known especially in America - Ellen Griswold in the National Lampoon's Vacation franchise. D'Angelo received critical acclaim for her performances as Patsy Cline in Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), and as Doris Vinyard in American History X (1998). She has also performed in Broadway theatre, starred in a number of television films, and had roles in over 50 movies.
