Alki Politi Greek TV / Short Film Director & Screenwriter
Alki Politi is a writer and director based in Athens. She graduated from the department of Film Studies of the Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and did her Master’s in Screenwriting, Directing and Production at the University of Panthéon/Sorbonne Paris I. She has worked as an assistant director for various productions and as a script consultant in Greece and in France. As a filmmaker she has written and directed a few short films and is now developing her first fiction feature film. On 2018 she worked in collaboration with the Mediterranean Film Institute’s script workshop as an assistant trainer.
Filmography:
Homo Perfectus (2022): This 23-minute fiction film is set in Athens in 2021. It revolves around Johnny, the first android robot on the market, designed to be the perfect partner for influencer Youla. However, after their wedding, Youla discovers that Johnny lacks certain functions she desires. The film explores themes of technology, relationships, and human desires.
