Abigail Ratchford, born in Pennsylvania, is an American model and aspiring actress known for taking the Internet by storm in 2013. Abigail's deft use of social media, combined with the provocative pictures showcasing the brunette's 36DD-24-36 frame, proved a winning combination. This formula helped land her on numerous men's websites, a six page print spread in a popular Australian men's magazine, and also led to her being selected to audition for parts in Maxim, a feature film, and television shows found on ABC and E! Networks.
Abigail Ratchford was born in Pennsylvania of part Irish, German and French decent. Her father is a District Attorney, and her mother runs a large child care program. Abigail is the fifth of seven children and was raised in an Irish Catholic.
For her New Year's Resolution in 2013, Abigail decided to get in better shape. Feeling confident with her new body, she decided to set up a photo shoot for fun during the first weekend in March. The photos from that shoot, displaying Ratchford clad in red lingerie and Christian Louboutin heels, attracted attention after she posted them on her newly made Facebook fan page, and were featured on numerous men's websites within a matter of weeks. She also attracted the attention of several commercial agents in New York who sent her on auditions for shows found on mainstream cable networks.
In January 2014, Abigail relocated to Los Angeles to further her career. Since moving, she has been on several billboards on Sunset Boulevard, International Esquire and Maxims, and has been called "The Sweetheart" of TMZ after appearing on their show multiple times. Abigail is also branching into acting ... starting with a small part on an episode of Parks and Recreation. Although Abigail remains grateful for the exposure she received through social media, she expresses that she wants a career of substance and longevity that doesn't rely on Internet success. She states that the career she wants will require her to expand her growing modeling portfolio, as well as focus on her professional acting training and theater experience.
