Diana, Princess of Wales (born Diana Frances Spencer; 1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997) was a member of the British royal family. She was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the British throne, and the mother of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Diana Prince is a fictional character appearing regularly in stories published by DC Comics, as secret identity of the Amazonian superheroine Wonder Woman, who bought the credentials and identity from an Army nurse named Diana Prince who went to South America and married her fiancé to become Diana White. The character debuted in Sensation Comics #1 (January 1942) and was created by Charles Moulton and H. G. Peter.

In her homeland, the island nation of Themyscira, her official title is Princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta. When blending into the society outside of her homeland, she adopts her civilian identity Diana Prince. The character is also referred to by such epithets as the "Amazing Amazon", the "Spirit of Truth", "Themyscira's Champion", the "God-Killer", and the "Goddess of Love and War"; she has been described in numerous comic issues as "beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, stronger than Hercules, and swifter than Hermes".
