Screen Legend Lauren Bacall's Manhattan Home to Hit the Market for $26 Million

The legendary star's apartment in the famed Dakota Building on Manhattan's Upper West Side will hit the market later this month for $26 million, according to real estate website The Real Deal.

Bacall, who died in August, made her film debut in 1944 in To Have and Have Not, where she met her first husband, screen icon Humphrey Bogart, starring with him again in films including Key Largo and The Big Sleep.

The Tony Award-winning actress bought the spacious apartment at 1 W. 72nd St. in 1961 for just $48,000, when she was married to actor Jason Robards...
