Betty Grable, Clara Bow, Debbie Reynolds, Jane Powell, These ladies were all lovely looking but they had a lot more personality than the likes of other top beauties like Lana Turner, Liz Taylor, etc. There are a few underrated from the early days like Mary Carlisle, Patricia Ellis, Toby Wing and Rochelle Hudson. I think Marilyn Monroe in her starlet era was much more beautiful than the overtly sexual caricature she became.

Ava Gardner played "Lily Langtry" in the Movie The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean ... he grew up a block from my Grandmothers house ... Enjoyed Working on that Movie ... Some very attractive Women on set .... But my best friend was the Watch Bear ... we Ate Lunch together a lot ... Jelly Beans anybody???
