Intruder shot, body guard stabbed in the face at Miranda Kerr's Malibu mansion

An intruder was shot and a security guard was stabbed in the face during an encounter at a Malibu mansion of model Miranda Kerr, according to reports.
The unidentified man jumped a fence at the luxury property Friday morning and began fighting with the guard, Los Angeles County Sergeant James Braden told the Daily News.
He said that the intruder armed with a knife was shot three or four times in the face and body, but is expected to survive after being taken to the hospital in critical condition.The security guard is also expected to survive.

A neighbor told KTLA that the hillside mansion is owned by Kerr, a 33-year-old Australian Victoria's Secret Angel. Braden said that the person who lives in the Malibu dwelling, where a nearby house estimated is worth an estimated $2,500,000 according to Zillow, was not home at the time.
