Dadi Freyr and his wife Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir, both members of the Icelandic Eurovision entry Dadi og Gagnamagnid, have become parents of their second child. The frontman announced this on Twitteron Saturday.
"I am now a father of two children," writes the 29-year-old singer, who became the father of daughter Áróra in 2019.
During the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, a band member of Dadi og Gagnamagnid became infected with the coronavirus. As a result, the group had to perform via a video link. With the recorded performance, the band reached the fourth place in the final. After returning to Iceland, the pregnant Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir also tested positive.
