With hindsight I know now that I was never on the seven-time world champion's level but he gave my career as a Formula One driver credibility
The outpouring of concern for Michael Schumacher’s wellbeing over the past 36 hours, not only from the world of Formula One but from the wider sporting, and indeed non-sporting, community has been wonderful to see. In my opinion it constitutes long-overdue recognition of Michael’s status as a true sporting great. I only hope and pray that he pulls through to see what nice things people have been saying about him.
The truth is I do not believe that Michael has ever truly received the praise or recognition that his stunning achievements merited. And I say that now with the benefit of hindsight.
For years Mic...
It truly saddened me to hear about the serious injury the good family man/husband/father Michael had from that fall while skiing with his son and friends. I have been on my round the clock prayers, offering mass for guidance to the medical team on their hour by hour procedure to save the life of this great sports man. Had rounded up friends for prayers. All thru the working of the Holy Spirit and all in the name of Dr Jesus' healing and saving name. Special uplifting prayer for you MS, hang in there, on the track of life, as you would always be and do. A pattern you have in your life and career. My prayers for Corinna and Gina Marie and Mick. From our lips to God's ears, no prayer goes to the bin. O dear God of the unexpected, I pray for Michael's recovery, all in your best will and time. amen.
