Moses Fleetwood "Fleet" Walker (October 7, 1856 – May 11, 1924) was an American professional baseball catcher who is credited with being one of the first black men to play in Major League Baseball (MLB). A native of Mount Pleasant, Ohio, and a star athlete at Oberlin College as well as the University of Michigan, Walker played for semi-professional and minor league baseball clubs before joining the Toledo Blue Stockings of the American Association (AA) for the 1884 season.

Thomas Joseph Lovett (December 7, 1863 – March 19, 1928) was an American professional baseball pitcher. He played all or part of six seasons in Major League Baseball between 1885 and 1894.

Cornelius F. Daily (September 11, 1864 – June 14, 1928) was an American professional baseball catcher, outfielder and first baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Keystones, Providence Grays, Boston Beaneaters, Indianapolis Hoosiers, Brooklyn Ward's Wonders, Brooklyn Grooms, and Chicago Colts between 1884 and 1896. His brother, Ed Daily, also played professional baseball.

Joseph V. Battin (November 11, 1853 – December 10, 1937) was a 19th-century Major League Baseball player. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Harry Eugene Wheeler (March 3, 1858 – October 9, 1900) was an American 19th century Major League Baseball player from Versailles, Indiana. A well travelled player, he played for eight different teams in three different leagues during his six seasons.

John F. Meister (May 10, 1863 – January 17, 1923) was an American baseball player. Meister played two seasons in Major League Baseball, 1886–87, for the New York Metropolitans, primarily as a second baseman.

Thomas Nathaniel "Sandy" McDermott (March 15, 1856 – November 23, 1922) was a professional baseball player. He appeared in one game in Major League Baseball as a second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles on June 18, 1885 but never had an at bat. He had an extensive career in the minor leagues that lasted through 1897, including four seasons with the Fall River Indians in the New England League. He also managed the Poughkeepsie Colts in the Hudson River League in the 1903 season.

George Joseph "Candy" LaChance (February 14, 1870 – August 18, 1932) was an American professional baseball first baseman. He played twelve seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 1893 and 1905 for the Brooklyn Grooms/Bridegrooms, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Blues, and Boston Americans.

Henry John Gruber (December 14, 1863 – September 26, 1932) was an American professional baseball pitcher who played from 1885 through 1895. A right-hander, he played five years in Major League Baseball with the Detroit Wolverines (1887–88) and Spiders (1889, 1891) of the National League and the Cleveland Infants (1890) of the Players' League. He won 61 games and lost 78 in his career, and had a 3.67 earned run average (ERA). He was also the first professional coach hired by the Yale University baseball team, holding that position in 1892.

Edward M. Daily (September 7, 1862 – October 21, 1891), was a Major League Baseball player.
