    The Japan Swimming Federation (日本水泳連盟, Nihon Suiei Renmei, JASF), is the national federation for Aquatics in Japan. It oversees Japan's Swimming, Diving, Water Polo and Synchronized Swimming competitive programs. It was founded on October 31, 1924. It is affiliated to FINA, the Asia Swimming Federation, the Japanese Olympic Committee and the Japan Amateur Sports Association.

    The Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) is a single sport intercollegiate college athletic conference sponsoring men's and women's water polo. The WWPA is affiliated with the NCAA, and includes 15 member institutions, mostly in California, with one institution each in Illinois, and West Virginia and two in Erie, Pennsylvania. The league has five teams in its men's league and nine in its women's league, with only Fresno Pacific and UC San Diego fielding teams for both sexes in the WWPA. The three easternmost schools, Gannon, Mercyhurst, and Salem, also field teams for both men and women, but only the women's teams are in the WWPA, with the men's teams instead playing in the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

Formed in 1977, it is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. CBDA is a member of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), Swimming Union of the Americas (ASUA) and the South American Swimming Confederation (CONSANAT) and it is affiliated to the Brazilian Olympic Committee.

It is responsible for establishing the laws of the sport, for organising certification and education programmes for coaches, officials and teachers, and for recreational swimming, aiming to ensure that everybody in Wales has the opportunity to learn to swim.

    The Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro (VPSCG) (Montenegrin:Vaterpolo i plivački savez Crne Gore) is the governing body of water polo and swimming in Montenegro. The federation was formed on 22 April 1949 in Herceg Novi. Its first president was Milan Vukasović. It is an independent sports organization, member of the LEN (the European Swimming League), FINA (International Swimming Federation) from 21 August 2006, Montenegrin Olympic Committee. It also organizes the Montenegrin Water Polo Cup as well as the Montenegrin national water polo team.

    Scottish Swimming, also known as the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA), is the national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming in Scotland. The SASA and the English and Welsh swimming associations form British Swimming, which is responsible for British teams at the Olympics, and other events in which the United Kingdom sends a combined team.
