Wairarapa Bush rugby union players

James Alfred Cotter (17 February 1959 – 5 September 1985) was a New Zealand rugby union and softball player.

Thomas "Tommy" George Corkill (9 July 1901 – 9 May 1966) was a New Zealand rugby union player who represented the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks in 1925. His position of choice was preferably a halfback however he was used throughout the backline both provincially and internationally.

Tolu Fahamokioa (born 5 May 1991) is a Tongan rugby union player who currently plays as a prop for Hawke's Bay in the Mitre 10 Cup. During the 2015 Super Rugby season he also made an appearance for the Hurricanes.

Patrick John Ryan (20 April 1950 – 5 March 1985) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A loose forward, Ryan represented Bush, Wairarapa Bush, and Hawke's Bay at a provincial level. He was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, on the 1976 tour of South America, playing in five matches but no full internationals.

Neil Alexander Purvis (31 January 1953 – 26 October 2008) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A second five-eighth and wing, Purvis represented Wairarapa Bush and Otago at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1976. He played 12 matches for the All Blacks including one international.

Michael John McCool (15 September 1951 – 23 June 2020) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A lock, McCool attended Kereru School and then St. Patrick's College, Silverstream where he was a member of the 1st XV in 1968. He represented Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa Bush at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1979. He played two matches for the All Blacks, including one test match against Australia.

Brett Andrew Harvey (born 6 October 1959) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A flanker, Harvey represented Wairarapa Bush at a provincial level. He played a single game for the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, a test match against France in 1986.

Brent Leslie Anderson (born 10 March 1960) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A lock, Anderson represented Wairarapa Bush and Waikato at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1986 and 1987. He played three matches for the All Blacks: namely a test match against Australia; and two matches against Japan that were not accorded full international status. He also won several Man of the Match awards while playing Irish club rugby, most notably in a sterling display against Thomond RFC, heavily trouncing club stalwart Mal Sherlock, in the Charity Cup.

Martin Joseph Berry (born 13 July 1966) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A utility back, Berry represented Wairarapa Bush, Wellington and Manawatu at a provincial level, and the Hurricanes in Super Rugby. Following a successful spell playing with Glasgow Academicals in Scotland, he was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1986 and 1993, playing 10 matches, including a single test match appearance as a substitute.

Mark Andrew Bracewell is a first class cricketer. Born on 8 October 1955 in Auckland he played one first-class match for Otago in 1977/78 and one List A one-day game in 1979/80. A right arm medium bowler and right-handed batsman, he achieved little of note in either appearance but is part of a well known New Zealand cricketing family with three brothers and a son who also played first class cricket.
