Ushitsky Uyezd

Dunaivtsi (Ukrainian: Дунаївці, Yiddish: דינעוויץ, Dinovitz; Polish: Dunajowce; Russian: Дунаевцы) is a city in Kamianets-Podilskyi Raion, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the river Ternavka, 22 km away from the railway station Dunaivtsi and 68 km from the Khmelnytskyi. Reinforcement plant, repair and engineering works and butter-processing plant are located in the city. The city also houses a control center of the State Space Agency of Ukraine. Dunaivtsi hosts the administration of Dunaivtsi urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Current population is 15,078 (2024).

The Ushitsa uezd was a county (uezd) of the Podolia Governorate of the Russian Empire. The uezd bordered Letichev uezd to the north, the Mogilev uezd to the east, the Khotin uezd of the Bessarabia Governorate to the south, and the Kamenets-Podolsky uezd to the west. It included most of Kamianets-Podilskyi Raion of Ukraine. The district was eponymously named for its administrative center, Novaya Ushitsa (modern-day Nova Ushytsia).

Murovani Kurylivtsi (Ukrainian: Муровані Курилівці, Polish: Murowane Kuryłowce) is a rural settlement in the southwestern part of Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine. It was formerly the administrative center of Murovani Kurylivtsi Raion, but is now administered within Mohyliv-Podilskyi Raion. Murovani Kurylivtsi is located on the banks of the Zhvan River, a left tributary of the Dniester River, in the historic region of Podolia. Population: 5,632 (2022 estimate)

The village is located on the river Ushytsya, 43 km away from the railway station Dunaivtsi and 89 km away from Khmelnytskyi. Mynkivtsi belongs to Dunaivtsi urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its population was 1,479 inhabitants in 2015.

Bakota (Ukrainian: Ба́кота) is a historic submerged settlement in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, western Ukraine. The village lies beneath the Dniester River and is located in the historic region of Podolia.
