Unreleased Tamil-language films

Veeramadevi (transl.) is an upcoming Indian historical drama and war film, written and directed by Vadivudaiyan and produced by Ponse Stephen. The film stars Sunny Leone in her Tamil debut as the eponymous character, alongside Navdeep. Nassar and Srinath appear in supporting roles. Its soundtrack is composed by Amresh Ganesh, who had previous done the same for Charlie Chaplin 2 (2019).

Andhagan (also marketed as Andhagan The Pianist, transl. The Blind Man) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Thiagarajan who co-wrote the screenplay with Pattukkottai Prabakar. The film stars Prashanth in the titular role, alongside Simran, Priya Anand, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijayakumar and Manobala. It is a remake of the 2018 Hindi-language film Andhadhun by Sriram Raghavan, which follows a blind pianist who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a murder.

Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam (transl. Pole Star: Chapter One – War) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language spy action thriller film directed and produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon. It stars Vikram leading an ensemble cast consisting of Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran and Vinayakan. The film features music composed by Harris Jayaraj, whereas cinematography handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, S. R. Kathir and Vishnu Dev, editing done by Anthony.

Rendavathu Padam (transl. Second Film) is an unreleased Tamil-language film written and directed by C. S. Amudhan. The film stars Vimal, Aravind Akash and Richard, along with Vijayalakshmi, Remya Nambeesan and Sanjana Singh. The film began production in November 2011 and the shoot was completed by 2012, but the producer's financial problems meant that the film did not have a theatrical release.

Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakha (transl. Joshua: Keep Your Eyes Open) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International. The film stars Varun in the titular role, Krishna and debutante Raahei. The music was composed by Karthik, while S. R. Kathir and Anthony handled the cinematography and editing of the film.

Jail is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language crime film written and directed by Vasanthabalan. The film is produced by Sridharan Mariathasan under the production banner of Krikes Cine Creations. The film stars G. V. Prakash Kumar, with debutant Abarnathi and Radhika Sarathkumar. Prakash Kumar also composed music for the film which was edited by Raymond Derrick Crasta. The film was released on 9 December 2021.

Kanni Raasi (transl. Virgo) is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Muthukumaran and produced by Shameem Ibraham. The film stars Vimal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, with Pandiarajan, Yogi Babu, Kaali Venkat and Robo Shankar amongst others in supporting roles.

Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer and actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu language films. In a career spanning 32 years, he has performed and designed a wide range of dancing styles and has garnered two National Film Awards for Best Choreography. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to dance.
