Melbourne University Publishing (MUP) is the book publishing arm of the University of Melbourne. The press is currently a member of the Association of University Presses.

Monash University Publishing is a university press supported by Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). The press was originally founded in 2003 as the "Monash University ePress" before it was re-organized by Nathan Hollier in 2010 and renamed "Monash University Publishing". The press is a member of the Association of University Presses.

Sydney University Press is the scholarly publisher of the University of Sydney. It is part of the Library.

ANU Press (or Australian National University Press; originally ANU E Press) is a new university press (NUP) that publishes open-access books, textbooks and journals. It was established in 2004 to explore and enable new modes of scholarly publishing. In 2014, ANU E Press changed its name to ANU Press to reflect the changes the publication industry had seen since its foundation.

University of Queensland Press (UQP) is an Australian publishing house based in Brisbane, Queensland. Founded in 1948 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Queensland and a traditional university press, UQP now publishes books for general readers across fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, and includes works for children and young adults.

UWA Publishing, formerly known as the Text Books Board and then University of Western Australia Press, is a Western Australian publisher established in 1935 by the University of Western Australia. It produces a range of non-fiction and fiction titles.

Cliffbrook is a heritage-listed former residence, school and government building and now university research, administration building and university press located at 45-51 Beach Street, Coogee, New South Wales, an eastern suburb of Sydney, Australia. Built in 1921, its design is attributed to John Kirkpatrick. The building is owned by the University of New South Wales. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The University of Adelaide Press (UAP) was the book publishing arm of The University of Adelaide. It published peer-reviewed scholarship in print and open access ebooks. Launched by author and Nobel Prize winner J. M. Coetzee it operated from 2009 to 2018, with the final work published in February 2019.
