Transport in the Klang Valley

The MRT Kajang Line, previously known as the MRT Sungai Buloh–Kajang Line, is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line servicing the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It is the second fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley region after the LRT Kelana Jaya Line. Owned by MRT Corp and operated as part of the Rapid KL system by Rapid Rail, it forms part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The line is numbered 9 and coloured green on official transit maps.

Rapid KL (promoted as rapidKL) is a public transportation system owned by Prasarana Malaysia and operated by its subsidiaries Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. The acronym stands for Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Kuala Lumpur, which translates to Kuala Lumpur Rapid Integrated Transport Network in the Malay language. Rapid KL, with its 204.1 km (126.8 mi) of metro railway and 5.6 km (3.5 mi) of BRT carriageway, is part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System, operating throughout Kuala Lumpur and Selangor's satellite cities in the Klang Valley area.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) (IATA: KUL, ICAO: WMKK) is the main international airport serving Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It is located in the Sepang District of Selangor, approximately 45 km (28 mi) south of downtown Kuala Lumpur and serves the city's greater conurbation.

The LRT Shah Alam Line, previously known as the LRT Bandar Utama–Klang Line, LRT Bandar Utama-Johan Setia Line or simply LRT Johan Setia Line, is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line which will be serving the Shah Alam and Klang regions on the western side of the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It will be the third LRT line, and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley region. The line will be operated as part of the Rapid KL system by Rapid Rail, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia. It was announced by Prasarana Malaysia on 24 April 2013.

Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd is the largest bus operator in Malaysia operating mainly in urban areas of Klang Valley, Penang & Kuantan. As of February 2023, Rapid KL service brands unit of Rapid Bus, has operates 113 normal routes and also 69 MRT Feeder Bus routes, along with 8 Nadiputra routes in Putrajaya.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (IATA: SZB, ICAO: WMSA) also known as Subang SkyPark, — formerly Subang International Airport/Kuala Lumpur International Airport, often called Subang Airport — is an airport located in Subang, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. Serving as the main airport for Kuala Lumpur from 1965 to 1998, it was eventually replaced by the newer Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Pengangkutan Awam Putrajaya Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd dba Nadi Putra is the city bus operator in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, mainly serving Putrajaya city and nearby resident areas. Originally established as an agency of Putrajaya Corporation under the Ministry of Federal Territories, it was privatised in 2018.

Handal Indah Sendirian Berhad (lit. 'Handal Indah Private Limited'), trading as Causeway Link, is a bus operator with operations in Malaysia and Singapore. The operator is based in Johor Bahru, and is the largest bus operator in Johor. It operates cross-border public buses into Singapore through the Johor–Singapore Causeway and Malaysia–Singapore Second Link. The company also operates local public buses in the Klang Valley, Malacca and Selangor, as well as express buses connecting these regions to various destinations in Johor Bahru and Singapore.

Metrobus Nationwide Sdn Bhd (doing business as Metrobus) is a privately owned public transport company in the Klang Valley that was formed in 1992. It is based in Subang Jaya. It is the second largest stage bus (regular or trunk bus route) and feeder bus operator in Kuala Lumpur after RapidKL. Metrobus Nationwide owns a huge fleet of Nissan Diesel, Hino and Mercedes Benz buses but the buses are below service standards.

The Kuala Lumpur Mini-Bus Service or Bas Mini was one of the oldest and popular Malaysian public bus service, having served in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley region. The buses were primarily painted pink with a white stripe on the sides, and had a capacity of 20-30 passengers, due to its smaller size. The bus operated on a commission basis, with service operators being paid according to the fare they collected.
