Train-related introductions in 2025

The KTM Class 94 is a type of electric multiple unit (EMUs) currently under construction for Keretapi Tanah Melayu. Branded as ETS 3, these sets will be put into service on KTM's Electric Train Service (ETS) from 2025 onwards.

The British Rail Class 807 Evero is a type of electric multiple unit being built by Hitachi Rail for train operator Avanti West Coast. Based on the Hitachi A-train design, a total of 10 seven-car units will be produced.

The CR450BF Fuxing (Chinese: 复兴号; pinyin: Fùxīng Hào) is a Chinese electric high-speed train manufactured by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles. As part of the China Standardized EMU, the CR450BF is designed to operate at speed of 400 km/h (250 mph) and a maximum test speed of 450km/h.

The CR450AF Fuxing (Chinese: 复兴号; pinyin: Fùxīng Hào) is a prototype Chinese electric high-speed train manufactured by CRRC Qingdao Sifang. As part of the China Standardized EMU family, the CR450AF has an operating speed of 400 km/h (250 mph) and a maximum design speed of 450km/h. Once in service, it will be one of two trains that have the highest operating speed in the world, with the other being CR450BF.

The Tobu 80000 series (Japanese: 東武80000系, Tōbu 80000-kei) is a commuter electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by the private railway operator Tobu Railway in Japan. Twenty-five 5-car sets are to be built.
