Great Vengeance and Furious Fire is the debut studio album by English indie rock band The Heavy, released 17 September 2007 in the United Kingdom and 8 April 2008 in the United States. The album was released by Ninja Tune's new rock-based imprint Counter Records. The title is a reference to a line spoken by Samuel L. Jackson's character Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction.

The Glorious Dead is the third studio album by The Heavy. It was released on 20 August 2012 and has been described as a "quirky take on rootsy soul-influenced music." It peaked at #191 on the Billboard 200.

The House That Dirt Built is the second studio album by The Heavy. It was released on 13 October 2009. The title is a reference to the nursery rhyme This Is the House That Jack Built. Vocalist Kevin Swalby explained in an interview with Songfacts that the song "Sixteen" was inspired by a time when he was working a lot as a DJ and he would see 16-year-old kids sneaking into clubs.

Hurt & the Merciless is the fourth studio album by English rock band The Heavy, released on 1 April 2016 through Counter Records and the Bad Son Recording Company. The album's first track, "Since You Been Gone", was released as the album's lead single on 4 February 2016 alongside an accompanying music video. The tracks "Turn Up" and "What Happened to the Love?" were also released as singles.
