    David S. Calloway is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, a position he had held since the 2016 season. Calloway served as the head football coach at Texas A&M University–Kingsville from 2013 to 2014.

    Bill Hicks (born May 16, 1940) is a former American football player and coach. He was the 15th head football at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, serving for four seasons, from 1982 to 1985, and compiling a record of 8–29–3. As a player, Hicks was an All-Southwest Conference center at Baylor University in 1961, and was named to the Baylor All-Decade team of the 1960s. Hick began his coaching career as an assistant at Texas College of Arts and Industries—now known as Texas A&M University–Kingsville and West Virginia University. He returned to the Baylor to coach in 1969 and spent over a decade there as a defensive assistant. He was elected to the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017. After leaving Howard Payne, he spent three years on the defensive staff at the University of Texas at Austin. He then coached at the high school level in Texas, retiring in 2013.

    Gilbert Erwin Steinke (May 3, 1919 – May 10, 1995) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach of at Texas A&I University—now known as Texas A&M University–Kingsville—from 1954 to 1976 after having played at Texas A&I and then professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles. Steinke led the Texas A&I Javelinas to six NAIA Football National Championships, in 1959, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1975, and 1976. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1996.

He served as the head football coach at Texas College of Arts and Industries—now known as Texas A&M University–Kingsville–from 1929 to 1941, compiling a record of 71–34–9. McCallum was also the head basketball coach at Texas A&I from 1929 to 1940, tallying a mark of 92–119, and the school's athletic director from 1929 to 1941.

    Peter Alan Thomas (born October 11, 1991) is a former American football quarterback and current coach who is currently the quarterbacks coach at the University of Louisville. He was a three-year starter at Valhalla High School in El Cajon, California and earned various All-State honors. He began his college football career at Colorado State, where he was the team's primary starter from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, he was the only true freshman in the nation to start all of his team's games at quarterback. He then transferred to NC State, where he redshirted in 2012 and was a backup in 2013. After the 2013 season, he transferred to Louisiana–Monroe and was the team's starter in 2014. Thomas later started six games for the Los Angeles Kiss of the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2016. He has also been a member of the Minnesota Havok and Tampa Bay Storm.

    Juan Castillo (born October 8, 1959) is the offensive line coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles from February 2, 2011 to October 16, 2012 when he was fired. He played college football at Texas A&I as a linebacker. He played for the San Antonio Gunslingers of the United States Football League from 1984–1985. He joined the Eagles in 1995 as an offensive assistant. He was promoted to tight ends coach in 1997, and switched to offensive line coach in 1998.
