John Maxwell Coetzee (born 9 February 1940) is a South African-born novelist, essayist, linguist, translator and recipient of the 2003 Nobel Prize in Literature. He is one of the most critically acclaimed and decorated authors in the English language. He has won the Booker Prize (twice), the CNA Prize (thrice), the Jerusalem Prize, the Prix Femina étranger, and The Irish Times International Fiction Prize, and holds a number of other awards and honorary doctorates.

Joh Sung-wook (Korean: 조성욱; Hanja: 趙成旭; born 1964) is a professor of finance at Seoul National University Business School with expertise in competition policy and corporate governance currently serving as the chairperson of Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) since her appointment by President Moon Jae-in in September 2019. She is the first woman to lead South Korean antitrust agency since its creation in 1980s. Previously, she was also the first Korean woman to study doctorate-level economics at Harvard University as well as the first woman to join faculty of business schools at Korea University and most recently Seoul National University respectively.

Dan Friedman (1945– July 6, 1995) was an American educator, graphic and furniture designer. He was a major contributor to the postmodern and new wave typography movements.

Gawain Garth Fagan, CD (born 3 May 1940) is a Jamaican modern dance choreographer. He is the founder and artistic director of Garth Fagan Dance, a modern dance company based in Rochester, New York.

Charles Patrick Ewing is a forensic psychologist, attorney and SUNY Distinguished Service Professor at the University at Buffalo Law School. He was Vice Dean for Legal Skills from 2009 until 2012, and for Academic Affairs from 2012 to 2014. Ewing received his Ph.D. from Cornell University and his law degree with honors from Harvard University. Before joining the law faculty, he taught at Mansfield University, where he taught psychology, and at Brandeis University, where he taught legal studies. At SUNY, Ewing has taught criminal law, evidence, torts, juvenile law, forensic science, psychology, and psychiatry and the law.

Peter A. Daempfle (born 1970) is an American educator and researcher in the field of science education. He is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at SUNY Delhi.

Michael Stanley Whittingham (born 22 December 1941) is a British-American chemist. He is currently a professor of chemistry and director of both the Institute for Materials Research and the Materials Science and Engineering program at Binghamton University, State University of New York. He also serves as director of the Northeastern Center for Chemical Energy Storage (NECCES) of the U.S. Department of Energy at Binghamton. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2019 alongside Akira Yoshino and John B. Goodenough.
