Paulo Bruno Exequiel Dybala (born 15 November 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Juventus and the Argentina national team. Considered one of the world's most valuable players, he is commonly referred to as "La Joya" ("The Jewel") due to his creative style of play, pace, talent, technique and eye for goal. Palermitans also refer to him as "U Picciriddu" ("The Kid" in the Sicilian dialect), because of his young age at the time of his signing for Palermo.

Pablo César Aimar Giordano (born 3 November 1979) is an Argentine former professional footballer and current coach of the Argentina national under-17 football team.

David Pablo Nalbandian (born 1 January 1982) is an Argentine retired professional tennis player who played on the ATP Tour from 2000 until his retirement in 2013. He reached the highest ranking in singles of world No. 3 in March 2006. Nalbandian was runner-up in the singles event at the 2002 Wimbledon Championships. During his career, he won 11 singles titles, including the Tennis Masters Cup in 2005 and two Masters 1000 tournaments. Nalbandian is the only Argentine player in history who ever reached the semifinals or better at all four Grand Slam tournaments and reached the men's singles final at Wimbledon.

Ángel Cabrera (born 12 September 1969) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on both the European Tour and PGA Tour. He is known affectionately as "El Pato" in Spanish ("The Duck") for his waddling gait. He is a two-time major champion, with wins at the U.S. Open in 2007 and the Masters in 2009; he was the first (and still only as of 2019) Argentine and South American to win either. He also lost in a sudden death playoff at the Masters in 2013.

Martín Gastón Demichelis (born 20 December 1980) is an Argentine retired professional footballer who played usually as a central defender, although he could also operate as a defensive midfielder.

Bruno Lábaque (born November 11, 1977 in Córdoba) is an Argentine former professional basketball player. His position on the field was point guard. Lábaque spent most of his career at Atenas, where he won 12 titles with the team. Lábaque played more the 900 games for Atenas, with near 9,000 points scored.

Oscar Alfredo Ruggeri (born 26 January 1962) is an Argentinian former professional footballer who played as defender. Nicknamed El Cabezón ("The Big-Headed One"), Ruggeri achieved success at the international level with the Argentina national team, being part of the teams that won the 1986 FIFA World Cup, two editions of the Copa América and the 1992 King Fahd Cup. At the club level, Ruggeri's most successful stint was with Argentine club River Plate, where he won the 1986 Copa Libertadores (also the club's first win in this tournament) the 1986 Copa Interamericana and the 1986 Intercontinental Cup. Known for his rough style of play when marking opposing players and aerial ability, Ruggeri is considered one of the all-time best defenders to come out of Argentina. Following his retirement as a player, Ruggeri turned to managing, where he held posts in Argentina, Mexico and Spain. His last job as a manager was in 2006 with Argentine club San Lorenzo. Since then, Ruggeri went on to have a career on Argentine television, as commentator on football shows. He is currently a member of 90 Minutos de Fútbol, which airs in Fox Sports Latin America.

Mauro Damián Rosales (born 24 February 1981) is an Argentine footballer who last played in Major League Soccer. A winger/forward best known for his pace and crossing ability, he won a gold medal with Argentina at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Walter Adrián Samuel (born Walter Adrián Luján; 23 March 1978) is a retired Argentinian professional footballer. Samuel has been regarded as one of the best centre-backs of his generation, and as one of football's toughest defenders, with former international teammate and Inter captain Javier Zanetti referring to him as the "hardest player" he has played with.
