Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü (Fenerbahçe Sports Club), commonly known simply as Fenerbahçe or colloquially as Fener, is a professional football club based in Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey. They represent the men's football department of the Fenerbahçe S.K. sports club and compete in the Süper Lig, the top flight of Turkish football. In domestic football, Fenerbahçe have won a record 28 Turkish national championship titles, 9 Turkish Super Cup and 7 Turkish Cups. In international football, the club has won the Balkans Cup, which was the first non-domestic trophy won by a Turkish club.

Galatasaray Spor Kulübü (Galatasaray Sports Club), more commonly referred to as simply Galatasaray, is a Turkish professional football club based on the European side of the city of Istanbul. It is the association football branch of the larger Galatasaray Sports Club of the same name, itself a part of the Galatasaray Community Cooperation Committee which includes Galatasaray High School where the football club was founded in October 1905 consisting entirely of student members. The team traditionally play in dark shades of red and yellow at home, with the shirts split down the middle between the two colours.

The club's basketball department is their most successful section. The club plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Its home arena for national domestic Turkish Super League games is the Darüşşafaka Ayhan Şahenk Sports Hall, with a seating capacity of 3,500, while its home arena for European-wide games is the Volkswagen Arena Istanbul, with a seating capacity of 5,240.

İstanbul Başakşehir Futbol Kulübü, or due to sponsorship reasons Rams Başakşehir is a Turkish professional football club based in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. The club is better known simply as Başakşehir (). The club was founded in 1990 as İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club). They first reached the highest level in Turkish Football in 2007–08. They play their home games at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul.

Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü (lit. 'Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club'), abbreviated as BJK, is a Turkish professional sports club founded in 1903 that is based in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul. The club's football team is one of the Big Three in Turkey and one of the most successful teams in the country, having never been relegated to a lower division. It was the first registered sports club in the country and one of the few that acquired the right to bear the Turkish flag on its crest.

The Koç Rams (pronounced koach) are an American Football team in Istanbul, Turkey. The Rams compete in the Superleague of Professional American football in Turkey and have participated in the IFAF Champions League The Rams belong to the Koç University Sports Club located on the campus of Koç University in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The team was founded in 2004. After promoting to the Turkish Superleague in 2013, the Rams have since made the Turkish Superleague Final game in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2016, they won their first Superleague Championship, defeating the Boğaziçi Sultans, 21-14. In addition, 2016 was their first year to compete in the IFAF Champions League. The Rams became the first Turkish team to ever win a Champions League game by knocking of the St. Petersburg Griffins of Russia. Then they went on to defeat the reigning champions the Carlstad Crusaders in Sweden, to become the first Turkish team to accomplish a Final Four Champions League birth. In 21 of the July, they participated in IFAF Champions League 2016 Final Four at Wroclaw, Poland. They faced with Milano Seamen and lost 17-14 in the last second. Despite the loss in Final Four, they have been seen as a biggest surprise of IFAF Champions League in 2016.
