Melania Trump ( mə-LAH-nee-ə; born Melanija Knavs Germanized as Melania Knauss April 26, 1970) is a Slovene-American former model and businesswoman who served as the first lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021, as the wife of 45th President Donald Trump.

Aleksander "Sasha" Vujačić (Serbian Cyrillic: Александар Саша Вујачић, Slovene: Aleksander Saša Vujačič, rendered in English as Sasha Vujacic; born March 8, 1984) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player. He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft with the 27th overall pick. In the 2007–08 season, Vujacic set the Lakers record for the best three-point field goal percentage (.437) in a single season. In the 2009 and 2010 seasons, he won the NBA championship with the Lakers. Vujacic is also a two-time Turkish Basketball League All-Star and a Turkish Basketball League MVP.

Polona Hercog ("", born 20 January 1991) is a Slovenian professional tennis player. Her career-high WTA rankings are No. 35 in singles and No. 56 in doubles. She has won five WTA Tour titles; three in singles and two in doubles. Hercog also enjoyed success on the ITF Women's Circuit, winning 14 singles and five doubles titles. She is the Slovenian No. 2 in women's tennis.

Željko Ivanek (né Šimić-Ivanek; ; born August 15, 1957) is a Slovenian–American actor, known for his role as Ray Fiske on Damages, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award. Ivanek is also known for his role of Ed Danvers on Homicide: Life on the Street and Homicide: The Movie, Governor James Devlin on Oz, Andre Drazen on 24, Blake Sterling on the short-lived NBC series The Event, and Emile "The Hunter" Danko in Heroes. From 2014 until 2019, he starred as Russell Jackson in the CBS drama Madam Secretary. He also had a recurring role as F.B.I Special Agent Jim Racine in the Cinemax original series Banshee.

Alenka Bikar (born 7 January 1974) is a retired female sprinter from Slovenia, born in Ljubljana. She specialised in the 200 metres, competing in three Olympic games from 1996 to 2004. She was also named Slovenian Sportswoman of the Year in 2001. Bikar won the gold medal in the 200 m in the Mediterranean Games in 2005.
